INTEGRATING AGRICULTURE WITH AQUACULTURE

As highlighted this model is aligned for Agriculture farmers to become integrated farmers utilising “Aquaculture” as a secondary financial resource avoiding In-adequate usage of ground water, Model is designed to utilise only water which is drawn for Agriculture farming. Average requirement of 15,000 litres is utilised for every two days. The same water is passed into agriculture field without any wastage which is a strong nitrogenous liquid form combination of fish waste and feed waste. Feed is a formulation of minerals, Amino acids and enzymes with protein base which enhance the yield of crop naturally

EXPLANATION ON SYSTEM DESIGN

The total system is designed especially for “Agricultural Farmers” only. System is established with round tank of capacity 15,000 litres. For Aeration, a Ring blower is attached to the system. It was recommended to maintain tank in a Bio-secured shed to avoid entry of Creatures and safeguard fingerlings till its grower stage. On an Average total consumption of water for every two days is not more than 15,000 litres. Crop stands for 8 Months. As this is the integrated farming model and the crop will shift from tank to pond after every 4 months then per year we can get 3 crops.
