Feeding system
The feeding system is designed for gentle transportation of pellets to the fish tanks. The dosing is automatically calculated and feed is distributed evenly across the tanks to ensure optimal fish schooling and growth.
Oxygenation
Oxygen cones are used to dissolve oxygen into the water by low pressure to ensure optimal conditions for fish growth and welfare.
CO2 degassing
The degasser is designed for efficient removal of CO2 and free nitrogen. The process requires low maintenance efforts and is self-cleaning with no dead zones.
Main pumps
Water is pumped only one time as clean water leaves the treatment system. The recycling rate of the total system volume is 1-2 times per hour.
Fish tanks & Fish handling
Optimal water velocity in tanks secures a sound environment and excersises fish for better fish performance and meat quality. Gentle fish handling technology ensures easy movement of fish between tanks and for the delivery.
Mechanical filters
Efficient removal of particles larger than 40-60 microns in the drum filter is crucial for water quality optimization and optimal biofilter performance.
Biofilter
A fixed bed biofilter turns metabolic waste into harmless nitrate and works also as a microparticle filter holding back particles < 40-60 micron. Fixed bed technology is energy efficient and offers high biological stability. Semi-Automatic Cleaning (SAC) system and the Top Water Suction (TWS) solution makes cleaning easy and reduces sludge production.
Ozone chamber
Ozone cleans the water by oxidation and enhances flocculation of microparticles. The microorganisms are neutralized and off-flavour levels are controlled.
